Hey guys, so I have a Phantom 530 that I'm planning on water cooling in, and I've run into a slight space problem.

So I've screwed my res and pump together with a male to male fitting, and I was originally going to put it between my GPU and drive cage, but there's not enough space. Any input would be really helpful! Thanks!

I'm new here so sorry if I did something wrong btw.

Edit: If you need more pictures, I can upload a few more

You could put it:

On the bottom rad

On the PSU

Attach it to the drive bay

There's not enough space between the graphics card and the drive bay. I've considered putting it on the PSU, but then I'd have a huge tubing run from the top radiator all the way down

Sideways on the front rad?

A sideways reservoir? So like this?

Is there any way I can embed an image too so I don't need to go to imgur every time?

Yeah like that.

Copy where it says BBCode message boards and forums and paste it here.

I'm kind of against horizontal mounting, since filling and bleeding will be a pain... There's also no way of supporting it, since it's attached with a male to male fitting. Also, I'd still have a tubing run from the top radiator in the 5.25 bay all the way down to there, right?

Thanks  :)

Yeah, does it fit like this? IoJ2hHY.png

You could put the pump on the bottom rad.

That's what I was originally going to do, but there's not enough space between the edge of the GPU and drives.

I've thought about putting it there, but then I'd have to get tubing all the way down there. Behind the motherboard tray maybe?

I have that problem too. Maybe could you somehow put it on the top rad?

Hmm, hang it horizontally from the top rad? Where would the pump go then? I've tried putting the pump inside the 5.25 drive bays and it's just barely too big.

Ohh, maybe mount the res there and then out the pump on the bottom rad?

lol I'm at a loss now.

Hmm that could work! Thanks for everything haha. Any advice on horizontal res mounting, since I have no idea how that works?

No problem! I kind of do that, I use velcro on my res and front rad to secure it.

For that, you should be able to go get some double sided tape (MAKE SURE IT'S STRONG!!!) or use some black zipties around the res somehow. You could also buy something designed for putting the res on a radiator/fan mount.

Hmm ok. Any advice on filling and bleeding the loop with that weird of an orientation then?
