Does cursor speed affect ingame sensativity?

gamagama69

I assumed it does but my friend said he didn't think it did and set it high. I have it set low because I assumed it messed with game sense or something. I'm just kinda confused with everything related to mouse sense.

I've always left my mouse settings at default in Windows (aside from the weird "enhance pointer precision" one) and never had issues.

Depends on the game itself. Most games IIRC have an option for "Raw mouse input" and is on by default as far as I know, so most times, no

I don't believe that it does, game sensitivity is more determined by the sensitivity setting in-game. But DPI (Dots Per Linear Inch) does affect in-game mouse speed.

This. Most games are going to take raw mouse input and ignore the Windows setting.
