So a few days ago I said I'd buy the MX500 1TB even though it's a bit more expensive. But then I found out it's actually much more expensive than I thought it would be: $85 turn to $110 with shipping and taxes.

But I found this one: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08H8B1MXZ

And according to this Google docs table I found, it also has DRAM and for me the final price is $72.99 (same):

Do you think it really has DRAM? TeamGroup's website is useless with not enough information.

Thanks!

I think the drive you linked is the same as vulcan G, SLC cache instead of DRAM.

But from the looks of your earlier posts it looks like you got a B660 motherboard, why not just use NVME instead? Also if you only need it for storage and not your main drive, then don't worry too much about speeds. Of course this depends of what you're using the drive for.

The Vulcan G is pretty cheap:

Storage: TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan G 1 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive  ($64.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $64.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

I saw reviews saying that for some games that load many small files these dramless ssds can get as slow or worse then HDDs 😕
