Switching out Astro A50 Gen 1 for... Recommendations?

JimmyConrad

These A50s have been working well for 9 years already, but now the battery is going out and I am looking to get some new headphones.

I have no clue what's good out there. Hoping someone out there has similar needs and would give me a recommendation.

My wife has the Sony wh-1000xm4 and I like that quick pickup and its working. (of course the noise canceling is cool but not needed)

I like to play single player games so I need them for more cinematic games or for movies and music.

So far the only ones I see look nice are the SteelSeries Arctis 7+.

Thoughts?

Where are you located and what is your budget?  Do you need a mic?  I'm assuming you want wireless.

I will just have to throw my hat in the ring and recommend the AKG K361bt . They are noise isolating (not cancelling) and with a good pair of pads (I got these Wicked Cushions and couldn't be happier) they are comfortable and sound excellent.  The battery life is insane and the feature set is, I would guess, acceptable.  Gestures on the ear cup and auto sleep plus they fold up nicely.  I have fallen asleep with these on every night for months and only charged them a few times.
