I want to make my own 4k 120hz display and you better don't ask why. I wanted to ask if this panel and this controller board would work together because i don't want to waste any money.

Thanks in advance

The seller on AliExpress in the description doesn't mention anything for over 60Hz but does say 120hz in the title. You could try asking them, if you are lucky they'll say it works and it'll work and in the worst case it won't work but you can contact AliExpress and they'll force the refund

Edit: On the PCB itself there's written "4K 120HZ", but I think asking the seller won't hurt

Other than the controls for the display part that seems to just be a passive connector adapter between DP and eDP, so as it says "in theory" anything DP should pass through...

Of course the panel needs to be eDP with a matching connector. No info about that on the panel page.
