Budget (including currency): $2000 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Preferably any sort of heavy games and needing storage for other games.

Other details I'm upgrading from an intel laptop, and I play to use a Ryzen CPU. I would also like to at least get a GPU in the 3000 or around that, and I do not need any other stuff like keyboard or mouse. I'd like to at minimum play on 144hz or higher, and at least have 1080p. It also looks fun, and I'd like to see what you guys could come up with.

I’d say ultrawide is totally worth it.  Lots of games support it and its objectively more immersive.  It also helps a lot with productivity.

i would get a 12400f instead of the 12700f to get a 3440x1440x165Hz monitor if it were me.

iirc theres cs2130 at ~167$ and other decent gen3 like the a80 at ~170$, no point cheaping out when its not a >30$ save

Also just made me realise at the 12400f price going ryzen with used b450 is useless, esp when you get a solid board like the b660m-a
