Looks pretty okay to me

Ever so slight changes.

Intel over amd because they mostly perfrom about the same with Intel coming ahead by a bit

Slightly cheaper cpu cooler as while the rev b. Isn't bad, you can get most of the perfromance for cheaper

Slightly cheaper ram

4tb from seagate is only 16 dollars more than the 2tb version which is pretty good but its up to you. I'd get a 1tb m.2 though

Better perfroming card

Slightly higher rated psu

With a 5 fan pack, you'll have an extra since the case comes with 2 but it's only Like a dollar more then buying 3 separately so why not.

For your use, this would be more than enough. It's quite a bit below budget but you're not going to tell the difference with anything faster. I did include a second parts list in case you want to upgrade to higher resolution or want to keep this system for a while. If you go for the cheaper build you could always get a better monitor. If you want to save a bit of money you could use the stock cooler. It's enough to cool the CPU, but can be loud.

I like your second choice, That GPU is a big upgrade to OP's the CPU is a bit weaker though, it would depends on OPs use.

But with this GPU he could even aim for a 1440p monitor in the future.

It's not that much weaker for gaming. And outside of gaming it's actually faster. It's also cheaper and you can upgrade to 13th gen. 5600X still is a great choice.
