EDIT:

**FIXED**

it was the RAM. Both sticks I bought were defective. Third times the charm. Thank you all who replied!

This is my first build, and it's discouraging me.

MB: Asus Prime H150M-E

CPU: Intel core i5 11400F

RAM: 32GB patriot viper steel (2 x 16GB)

SSD:WD black 500GB w/ Generic Heatsink

GPU: ASUS dual RTX 3050

PSU: EVGA 80+ gold 600 W

27" Samsung curved monitor

Case: corsair 4000D airflow

The system is booting up but nothing is displayed on the monitor. I've switched hdmi cables and, yes, theyre plugged them into the GPU. 24 pin is seated correctly and clicked in, cpu power is an 8 pin which is also plugged in, cpu fan is plugged in its header. All cables from the case itself are plugged into their respective spots. audio, power sw power reset the power LED positive and negative pins are in the correct spot and orientation as well. The USB 3.2 is plugged in. I do not have any USB rgb headers plugged in. As far as I know all of these parts are compatible. All of the standoffs are in place under the motherboard in the case,

The only thing of note is my keyboard and mouse won't light up when I plug it into any of the USB ports but the ports do have some power going to them.

I have tried shorting the CMOS pins, disconnected the CMOS battery, reseated the GPU and RAM, used both RAM sticks by themselves in both sloth, cleaned the CPU and reapplied thermal paste, checked the monitor to make sure it was on and the hdmi was attached, rebuilt the Board with essentials outside of the case and had the same problems. I have rebuilt this thing about 5 times and had made no progress since noon yesterday.

None of the pins on the board are bent, no thermal paste on anything other than the CPU and its cooler.

I have my windows 10 on on a flash drive ready to go but I can't get the BIOS to come up.

I've been trying for 14 hours straight now with no progress.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Do you have another GPU you can try? (Even if it's a potato. We just want to validate whether it's the GPU or the rest of the system.)

No I do not, this is my first build and I have no other resources outside of buying parts again.

Very weird issue, if everything is compatible, the only thing i can think of is csm compatibility toggled by default, the only way to disable is to use a Pcie gen 3 gpu or a cpu with igpu, if you can return your parts i would try the cpu first, try getting a non f version if the difference in prince is not a deal breaker for you, or if you have any repair shops nearby, try hitting them upo nad see if they are willing to help, they should have gpus and cpus in inventory, but be wary of how much they charge

Is it booting or just powering on? .. do you have diagnostic LED's on it?

asus don't have a h150m-e board..  i asume it is 510..

tried with 1 ram installed in any slots?

these are aged components are they bought recently? consider RMA'ing them as something is faulty, hard to say but i would test with other ram, cpu mainboard in that order of priority.

to get any respons from the board you might want to invest in a plug on speaker, some boards, and cases have this included in the package. and hear what the board has to say about itself when you power it up.

It says ASUS on the board and box i believe, I believe it was released last year so I don't think it's too old.

There are no LEDs on it or speakers so I might try and get those and see what happens.

Also yes I've used both RAM sticks by themselves and still nothing. I'm going to see if they'll take a return and see what happens.

a speaker is like 50 cent.. simple troubleshooting tool just to connect to your mainboard.  connect on pins next to power sw and led hdd led.. just look in the manual

I just got it fixed it was the RAM. Both sticks were defective so that's just my luck. Thank you though!
