DeepinOS no wireless connections available.

I’m trying to set up DeepinOS 20.6 (dual boot), and after setting up, it doesn’t find any wireless networks (there isn’t even a tab for wireless networks in the settings).

 

I have a wifi receiver of ASUS, PCE-AC88. So I’m guessing I’m missing some sort of driver for that, although I’m not exactly sure what driver that would be (a Broadcom driver of some sort?)

(I also added a picture of lspc, had to do it like this because I sadly cannot get an Ethernet cable this far)

 

I’m quite new to trying to set up Linux, eventually I’d try making it my main coding OS, any help would be appreciated.

I’ve never heard of deepinOS.  Is it a Linux distro?

Broadcom is in my experience always a pain to setup. Sometime you need a different driver (b43 or broadcom-wl - some more info here https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Broadcom_wireless) and sometimes it doesn't like having secure boot on. Usually you need to go wired to install driver.

Yeah, it’s a Debian based distro: https://www.deepin.org/en/, one of the better looking ones in my personal opinion, hence why I want to try it.

I ended up finding the solution on the french Ubuntu forums: https://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=2007394&p=2

 

 

As my router is too far away as mentioned before, I ended up installing bless and binwalk by connecting an ethernet cable from my laptop to my Desktop and sharing the internet lol. Now my WiFi works perfectly fine (in fact, I'm writing this on my Linux installation )
