My Ps4 Might Have Died

I have a PS4 CUH-1001A model that I owned for 10 years and think that my power supply might have died on me also smelled electronic smoke while playing one day. Would it be worth trying to repair this console or buy a pre owned power supply and or wait for the ps4 slim I bought from ebay?

When asking "worth it", you need to define what's "it".

How much to get a replacement PSU will define if it is "worth it".

i would try dusting the system. many old systems suffer from overheating to a build up of dust.

As Hugo advises, you should take the front cover off and have a clean up and see if it helps.
