The desktop case you have here has a max of 280mm gpu clearance only.

There is a good chance that the dual-fan version of the Colorful iGame GTX 1070 will fit in your case of choice.

But no chance for the 3 fan version (314mm) of the same gpu.

Where is the case lacking in dimensions? It says it has 280mm of space is the card bigger than a rtx 3070 ti?

That is a 314mm gpu card. It won't fit either.

What do you currently have on-hand right now? This colorful igame gtx 1070 u-top or the xigmatek nyx case?

The case.

Alright. Then I suggest for you to look for gpu's with a maximum of 2 effective fan designs instead. For you to be able to fit it in your case with 280mm gpu clearance.

You have your measurement of 280mm of given clearance in your case. Getting a gpu longer than that is physically impossible. The "cost more for less" is in the gpu chip. It doesn't matter how big or small. My final suggestion for you is to get an RTX gpu with the same or closest budget you have, instead of a GTX card. And if you really want a 3-fan gpu, change your case to fit that.

Now the difference is $80 for the next option a gtx 1660 super 2 fan because the gtx 1070 has now begun a sale

Look for RTX3050. Better gpu than GTX1660. And most of them are dual fan only. You can find other brands of almost the same cost, depending from the country where you are at.
