Do I need to put the spacer thing on the motherboard then screw in the mobo? I'm talking after the standoffs, and sorry if this is the wrong form place. Thank

ok, i ran out of them and i needed to make sure it would be safe.

nope not required, that was kinda old school, i don't know if anyone uses them much now, just make sure you use the proper m/board screws provided and that the screw heads don't go past the grounding rings on the board.

got to love Asus components
