Phantom Notifications

Kid.Lazer

Every now and again, I hear my phone (Pixel 4a) go off (default notification sound) but there is nothing there. I used to just think I was nuts, but just last night it happened when someone was around, and they heard it too. Again though, there were no notifications of any sort. Is there any way to find what is causing such a thing? It's a not a huge deal, other than slowly making me loss my mind.

Things I've thought of that don't seem to be the case:

- I use Textra and have a few blocklisted numbers. Thinking it was maybe a bug that caused the sound to get through on messages from blocked numbers. But there were no new messages.

- I use K9Mail but have all auto-polling and push turned off. It only checks for mail manually.

Other than these, I don't really have much installed. Youtube Vanced, Discord, and the default Google stuff (although some of that is disabled).

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Edit: I just turned on notification history, so if it happens again, hopefully it will tell me what caused it.
