Edge and chrome browser display wrong brightness when open certain websites.

PCMRwannabe

I have 2 monitor: LG 27GL850 and DELL S2240L.

When i open twitch.tv and a website that have alot of images or videos like twitter or 9gag, everything on the browser become brighter on the dell monitor. Manually change the monitor brightness didn't help. But if i drag the browser's window to the LG monitor, it back to normal. Only the browser have its brightness increase, other windows i open on the dell monitor don't have this problem. I think the new edge update broke something but i don't know how to roll back the to older version.

Turn off DCR or auto contrast on your monitors.

It's not the entire monitor get brighter, only the browsers have this problem. I can put multiple windows of different programs side by side on the dell monitor and only the browser look brighter..

Check the graphics settings too. I had a guy with an issue of laptop screen changing brightness  based on content.. Not same as yours, but is was solved by turning off some setting in graphic card drivers and windows. Check if anything similar present in your settings?
