What laptop do I get

I’ve been looking into getting a laptop and I have not idea what to look for. I have a 500 dollar budget, I want a solid build (metal), I don’t need a gpu, I just want something fast that can run something like Minecraft or a light steam game well.

run games + metal + $500  doesn't seem very possible, unless you get something used. Metal is usually only used on "premium" laptops, which will never be $500.

I found this on HP's website but I can't tell if it's metal. HP Pavilion Laptop - 15z-eh100| HP® Official Store. You can custom it to have 1080p screen resolution (extra $40), backlit keyboard and better wifi for free. It will run Minecraft and lighter games but nothing major. More storage and memory is extra. There might be something better out there but this seems quite good and is on sale, which is why it's that price at all.
