RGB controllers

I am currently planning on connecting an argb strip to my pc but upon checking, my motherboard didn't have the 5V 3 pin port that I need. Can I use an RGB controller for this despite my motherboard not having a port for argb? I would also like to ask for suggestions for rgb controllers if I could use them. For reference, my motherboard is a MSI B450 Tomahawk Max.

Pretty sure you can't use that on your MB rgb header.
That board uses 12v 5050 strip.

You need something like :

would I be able to use the strip in argb mode even if I connect the controller to a 12v rgb port?

according to the video it does seem to still allow me to use argb. thank you for the suggestion. However, I would like to ask if something like this would also work. https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Accessories-|-Parts/iCUE-CONTROLLERS/iCUE-Commander-PRO-Smart-RGB-Lighting-and-Fan-Speed-Controller/p/CL-9011110-WW#tab-overview

I believe corsair uses some dumb proprietary sockets for the RGB on those, you will need an extension/adapter from that to regular aRGB strips.

Edit: I dont own any, I saw it on a video when I was researching for one of their cases that comes with it.

looks like the coolermaster argb controller only allows it to plug in to and rgb mb header and convert the argb fans to rgb so you still would need and rgb  header.

same gose for the argb it has to be plugged in to an mb argb header seem like it dose not work with usb?

or you can use the buttons on the controller with out using the mb connectors i think?

razer, some aquacomputer and coolermaster usb controllers look to have stranded connectors well others need adapters

I have dyslexia plz be kind to me. dont like my post dont read it or respond thx

also i edit post alot because you no why...
