Looks ~fine. If you need the e cores that the 12600k brings I'd just go to a 12700f and get a cheaper cooler. If you don't need them then if get a 12400f which is still great for gaming.

Your cpu cooler is pretty overpriced for the perfromance in brings because it's a corsair capellix. If you go down the 12400f route most aftermarket coolers would be just fine but a aio looks better in my opinion, so you can choose whatever, although I'd choose a cheaper one.

That mobo is super overpriced because it's ddr5 and has a  3 16x slots. I'd get a cheaper one or a more feature rich for the same price.

Consider a cheaper psu

I'm not sure if I should spend the extra money on a z690 motherboard or if it matters that much, Also is the 12600k going to bottleneck the 3080?

No and no.  Depending on what you wanna do with this, you could potentially save a lot of money.   Care to elaborate more on your intended usage, preferred budget, and/or other preferences?

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

It will mainly just be used for gaming and other normal computer things. My budget is somewhere around $1600 usd (though I can go over if I need to).

Get a z690 Aero G board imo, it’s an amazing board. If you insist on cheaping out on the motherboard, get a z690 UD AX (DDR4) from Gigabyte- it’s a good board, and it’s cheaper than most b660 boards.

I'm not sure I'd recommend what seems to be a 260 dollar board when the benefits of overclocking are basically nothing on 12th gen cpus

On the contrary I’ve had a good performance boost in rendering etc. by overclocking my 12700KF- modest 5ghz P-core and either 3.8  or 4.0 e-core iirc.
