How do I connect a fan from an older case in my new case?
The case comes with only two front rgb intake fans and I wanted to add one extra fan in the back as exhaust.

The problem is that the cable on the fan from my older case doesn’t connect to the other two fans in my new case.

Another problem is even though the fans from the new case are working, I can’t figure out how to get the rgb working.

I will add a bunch of pictures showing all connectors

My motherboard is a MSI B550-A Pro and my case is a Phanteks P360A

Picture 1: Connectors I used to plug the two front intake fans that came with the case

Picture 2: Connector labeled as JRainbow2 which I thought it could be helpful to solve the rgb problem

Picture 3:Same as picture 2 but with JRainbow1

Picture 4:Same as picture 2 but with JRGB1

Picture 5:Cable from the old fan im trying to connect

Picture6: Tail from the fans connected in my new case(even though it my seem like the old fan could connect in there, it doesn’t)

Picture 7:Cable from new case that could have something to do with the rgb problem

Picture 8:Same as picture 7

Picture 9 and 10: Fan setup from the old case

You can connect that fan to any of the ‘SYS FAN’ headers on your board. Pick the nearest one to the rear of the case & it’ll work. Just as you’ve done for the two front fans. This provides them with power.

Does that Case come with an RGB controller? If so, then that’s where you connect your front fans RGB plugs into. & your controller gets its power from a SATA cable.

Alternatively, you can bypass the RGB controller & connect them to the appropriate RGB headers on your motherboard. But be careful here as you need to connect them to the right one;

JRGB = 12v (basic RGB)

JRAINBOW = 5v (Addressable RGB)

10 minutes after posting this I did what you said and it worked. What I was missing was the fact that you are able to connect 3 pin fans in 4 pin connectors on your motherboard. Thank you!
