Thats a good deal but your link doesn't work so don't know more than those specs. I assume it's the 60wh battery, 8gb 256gb storage model?

was thinking about a macbook air m1 or m2 whenever it comes out, but apparently I gotta work with SSMS which isnt available on macos. Just programming, database management and some light gaming like csgo, rocket league, lol. Gaming is not a requirement tho.

For this money you aren't really gonna find much of a better laptop if at all for your usecases so I'd say go for it.
