I just bought a second hand desktop computer from a friend,

Specifications:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

-Motherboard MSI 7B85

-GPU: AMD RX 580 Series

- RAM: 16 GB DDR4 at 3200 MHz

- Storage: 512 GB nvme m.2 ssd

- PSU: 550W corsair

-OS: windows 11

Issue:

if I start any app within 15-30 seconds of logging in into windows the PC crashes completely,  no BSOD, it just restarts. If I leave it alone for 30+ seconds after logging in its fine afterwards.

completed diagnostics:

The reliability monitor gives the following error:

No BSOD dump files provided due to no BSOD ever occurring, yes I tried running the diagnostics tool suggested in the BSOD reporting thread, no result.

Attempted resolution steps:

Updated BIOS to latest version

Reinstalled windows from USB key

Attempted finding errors using

sfc /scannow

Re-seated GPU, RAM

After all these steps the systems still exhibits the same issue. Does anyone know / have any ideas of what could be causing it?
