Budget (including currency): Rp 16.000.000 or $1142

Country: Indonesia

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Cyberpunk, GTA V, Genshin, other games and for 3D work like modeling and animation for maya and blender

Other details

So after asking to my family, they say its perfectly fine if i got 3060 as long its the best for me.

At first this is my planned specification

I3 12100

Msi b660m b pro

Rx 6600 8gb ( powercolor / msi / shappire )

8x2 gb adata

500gb ssd kingston

500gb hdd seagate

coolermaster g600 gold

This gonna cost me Rp 14.000.000 or $1000

Than im thinking to use this spec

I3 12100

Msi b660m b pro ( 2 slot of ram )

Rtx 3060 PALIT

8x2 gb adata

500gb ssd kingston

500gb hdd seagate

Cx650m corsair 80+ bronze

Rp 15.600.000,00 or $1114.2

Than i found out ryzen is cheaper

Ryzen 5 3600

Msi b550m a pro ( i can get 4 slot of ram in here which seems gonna be usefull so i can upgrade to 32gb ram in the future )

Rtx 3060 PALIT

8x2 gb adata

250gb ssd kingston

500gb hdd seagate

Cx650m corsair 80+ bronze

Rp 15.300.000,00 or $1092

Can anybody help me which one i should choose ?

Edit

I forgot to say this

My monitor is just gonna be on 60hz since i dont play any fps game and mostly gonna for college work

Im going to put my pc in non air conditioner room. Is it perfectly fine if i just use stock cpu cooler ? Or should i also get a cpu cooler ?

What reccomendation if i should buy a cpu cooler. I just remember i proably need this to consideration

Edit 2: the third option are wrong price so i edit it

Edit 3 : 2nd option, wrong price so i fix it back. Also forgot to put the mobo type

This is where i count all of the price

www.enterkomputer.com

Ah yes, i wont rendering since imma do that with my college graphic card which have the same price as my kidney

I think 3060 is about the same as 6600xt might be wrong but techpowerup with have specs and userbenchmark to compare stats for a baseline.

6600 XT is faster than the 3060, but a little slower than the 3060 ti (depending on game).

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

For third party CPU cooler or not, I need to know what city first.

As for the GPU, ask the seller if the PALIT distributor still NJT (Nusantara Jaya Teknologi) or not first.
pretty sure msi ventus one is cheaper though, but yeah, dunno if there's one avail near you (Because I know how scary it is to send a GPU from other state using Indonesian courier 😂).

It's probably better for you to give us the exact model of the things you plan to buy.
Like RAM model etc. So that we can inform you if we know there's something iffy about that particular model. (Just in case, y'know)
Unless you've researched about it already, or must get that one no matter what.

I'd recommend something like this. Blender will usually perform better in Nvidia cards but a 6650xt will also perfrom good. I can't say for local pricing so out of the three lists I'd most likely get the 1st list. I'd just recommend to get a full 1tb ssd instead of storage bring split between hdd and sdd. You might Also be able to get the xt version or maybe a higher end gpu if you bring your  budget to 1100 like in your second list

Local pricing = pretty much add around 5-20% for non GPU (the more niche the more you add),
add up to 70% for GPU.

RGB, more than 2666mhz is considered kinda niche.
Example : The XFX 6650 XT you listed is around $500 locally

X470 master sli (1.15jt/77$), cheap but good board, most likely t topology so 4x4 ram is preffered

3600 (2.25jt/150$) or 5500 (2.35jt/156$), both perform similarly but 5500 has cut down cache

Themis evo (250rb/17$)

4gb ddr4 (~150rb/10$) 4x4 for 16gb, mobo is most likely t topology so 4x4 is preffered for oc, look for 1rx8 (single sided 8 chips) with ic model K4A4G085WE (samsung e die), these samsung ics do 4000+ with ease so dont bother looking at their stock jedec bin (2133, 2400, etc.), if you arent interested in ocing the balls of the rams then just run generic 3600 16-19-19 timings at 1.35-1.4v and let mobo auto everything else, dual rank will outperform single rank at lower speeds so thats why 4x4 instead of 8x2

750w capstone 80+ gold (700rb/47$), a good used psu will still be superior to a new lower end psu

1tb "sk hynix" oem ssd (1.45jt/97$)

Case wise stay under 600rb (45$), theres cube gaming frins for ~450rb (30$) as an example of a cheap but good case due to perforated/mesh front

Gpu wise maybe look at amd gpus if nvidia is overpriced, 6600xt > 3060 though 3060ti > 6600xt

Maybe but at the cost of DLSS, NVENC, Broadcast and other things to but what ever fits your needs you would still be happy as that is a solid tier for gaming to be fair, I run 2080 ti still.

If you are going to play games more then I'd get the 6650xt. If you have a job that relies on it or are mostly likely going to render more than I'd get the 3060. I'm not saying that the 3060 is bad at games and vice versa, they are just better in those specific categories

Well basically, if you live somewhere with a climate like let's say... Bandung, you most likely be fine with stock cooler
If it's like... Jakarta, then I'd advise you to get a more robust cooler, Cooler Master Hyper 212 is a cheap enough option.

As for the seller, try to buy from a seller that has good rep and if possible an offline store as well.

Sure they might be somewhat more expensive, but atleast you know where to find them if you need to.
Simply ask the seller about the warranty these things:
1. Is it warranted by indonesian distributor, or is it international warranty.
2. Which distributor the warranty is from.

3. How long is the warranty period.

Because some store imported on their own, says it's "x years warranty" on the detail page, while it's actually just an international warranty, not local distributor warranty.
If things go wrong, you might have to send the GPU overseas by yourself (shipping cost on you) to claim warranty.

So generally what you want for their response to those 3 questions above is :
1. Yes, local distributor
2. (Put a well known local distributor name, NJT, WPG, Astrindo, etc)
3. A good amount of years, preferably the same like the international warranty.
