A 5450 is not much better than many on-board graphics, they're often just used for their output options. Something around a 7850 should be good but we really need some more info. What resolution is the TV? What FPS are you happy with? All your current PC specs? Also, do you know the response time of the TV?

Get yourself an HD 7870 Tahiti LE or spend a bit more and get a 7950, best performing card in their class bar none.

What if he got $10000 to spend , then he could get 4 way titans

I would suggest you waiting for NVIDIAs upcoming 700 series of video cards and see what performance we'll get out of them.

That monitor is only 1366x768. A 7790 would be a great choice.

If you have intentions on going with a higher resolution in the near future you may want a faster card.
