Cannot extend hard drive

I have unallocated space on my Second drive, but disk manager says I need to make it a dynamic disk in order to extend it. It was originally a recovery partition that I just deleted, but it was from an install literally years ago and was empty.

Could always put everything on that drive on another drive, and reformat the drive so that there is no empty space like that. :P

Yea but I really shouldn't have to. It would take a long time to move all of it back and forth.

I'm wondering as to why it says it should be dynamic though. I'm not trying to create 4 partitions
