is this PC worth it?

not sure where to put this PC so im sorry beforehand if its in the wrong section.

 

was looking at a local classified ads website and it had a "gaming PC" for sale, price is fairly cheap but im not entirely sure if its worth the price, its a full setup (monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc) from the info i got from the seller and their ad this is what i could piece together

does have an optical drive and has windows 8 installed, from the pictures of it, it seems rather dusty so a good clean out would help the temps and life of the components and if it is worth buying was also wondering if it will be worth it to add a SSD and an aftermarket cooler on it, all feedback is appreciated, thanks for reading.

Edit: I can see some thing is missing, and the price is fair if you look the price up, so i think it sould be fair

@Zohan2000 seems okay, building your own is an option i would try and knock him down to $850 or $900

I do have a better PC but was thinking of getting it for like a back up and some of the items don't have prices cause nothing here in Australia sells them and same as in the US since they are last generation parts

I'd pay $1000 for that, it will be better then you'd expect. A lot of people underestimate the power of an i5 and last gen, high end graphics card

Forgot to add, it is absolutely worth adding a better cpu cooler and ssd. Makes a world of difference.

Gonna see if I can bump it down a bit in price and get it then.

Was mainly considering buying it, cleaning it up and adding a SSD and a aftermarket CPU cooler and maybe selling it off for a profit or just keep it for whatever reason
