8GB Soldered DDR5 + 32GB DDR5 add-on?

Hi

This is something I've never experimented with, and cannot find someone who did online. Will it cause issues in terms of performance and stability if I replace the 8GB stick in the Zephyrus M16 with a 32GB stick? DDR5 seems to be forgiving in general, but I want to know for sure before committing.

If you run mismatched sized memory, any matched amount will be dual channel. The rest will be single channel.

So if your computer have 8GB soldered, then the first 16GB (8+8) is dual channel. Anything over that is single channel.
