Laptop keeps heating despite replacements

Inttrav

So basically i bought an Aer nitro 5 An515-54, about 2 years ago now. But due to constant problems with the HDD, cooling issues and CPU, The company replaced my laptop about a year ago. They also upgraded my hdd to an sdd. But once again, My laptop has started to reach 90C on idle. I cant even play valorant on low setting anymore.

Any idea what im doing wrong?
I use the laptop for atleast 14 hours a day for basic school work and the occasional valorant match.

How warm is the air coming out of the cooler? It might be bad thermal paste. Is there much dust that is  blocking the heat sink?

Check the thermal paste, maybe it's a bad thermal paste application or it simply a dry paste. and check you fan, maybe there's a lot of dust in there that block your laptop airflow

Did you check the opposite side of the heatsink (i.e. side facing in the laptop chassis)?

If it is that side that is getting clogged with dust, it will look clean from the outside, but will still overheat.

My girlfriend's laptop when I took it apart last year.
