10900k cooling

Hey!

Right now I have a 10400f with an NH-U12s (single fan) and it runs in the mid 50s on Cinebench. I was wondering if I were to upgrade to a 10900k, if the u12s would be sufficient.

Thanks!

Unless you're getting the 10900K/10850K for really cheap, odds are you'd be better off selling your CPU, cooler, and motherboard and just doing a platform upgrade to 12th gen instead.

Also, that cooler will barely be able to handle the 10900K, it's a hot boi CPU.
