Halo Master Chief Collection subtitles

Hello,

I bought the Master Chief collection for the Xbox one S. I, however, can't seem to turn on the subtitles. I started with Halo Reach, and whether the setting is on ON or Automatic, there is nothing. Not in the cutscenes nor game play. I was wondering if this was a bug or am I doing something wrong?
