Is having the pci e cable smushed against glass bad?

is having the graphics card pci e cable smushed up against the glass case a problem?

They are usually resilient enough to tolerate significant bends. That looks like it should be fine.

You don't want it putting tension, well stress on the card. However realistically it's not likely to harm anything unless you are putting a bunch of pressure on it. 

 

Generally you can sort of form the cables by bend them before installing them. Bend it at a 90 degree angle if you need to. Also they do make 90 degree adapters, but some of the adapters are sketchy, so find a quality one if you go that route. You might be able to get more clearance by bending the cables some.

There's also 180 degree versions like these that will look a lot cleaner then 90 degree ones:

Just make sure to select the right one with the connectors orientated the correct way for your graphics card connectors.
