LTT Backpack - Putting pins on the outside

Will the LTT Backpack have the ability to place pins on the outside (like this, for example)? I know that not all backpacks are able to have pins fit through them, and some get pretty destroyed from it. 

 

Obviously putting pins in it may be "unsupported" due to having to literally put holes in the product, but I was curious if it was something that was tried or thought about at all.
