Mousewheel physically clicks but does not register

So I have this like cheap Chinese or something wired mouse whose mouse wheel click suddenly stopped working as a middle click. I have tried both windows and linux and the mouse wheel click is registered in neither of these operating system but it physically actually still clicks, there is even that click sound when I press down on the mouse.

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to fix this ? like this mouse has only 2 buttons (left click and right click) besides the mouse wheel so its quite frustrating that I can't like switch my firing mode in shooters, pick a block or thing in minecraft and most frustrating is that I use blender ! so yeah, life is kinda hell now.
