[EVGA] Individually sleeved PSU cable kit now available for purchase

VSG

Not a better source available out there! Paracord, heatshrink-less and a pretty decent price given what you get. So far available in Black, White, Red and Blue but potentially more colors may come out depending on interest. The kits cost $90 for the G2/P2 units. Example black kit image below:

Honestly that is a very decent price, if you were to do it yourself it would cost a lot more assuming you need the tools and are doing it the first time. It would cost a lot more to have them done by a 3rd party professional as well.

I know it's a good price, but it still takes a dent in my wallet, especially since it won't necessarily improve performance

I still don't really get PSU sleeving other than aesthetics. PSU cables don't really kink or are in any danger of breaking in a case. But I admit they look pretty when done well.

1000 G2/P2's stock cables have a big resistor in the cable that makes it really hard to bend so it isn't only about aesthetics

The sleeved cables I have from Corsair aren't plastic. I'm not sure what you're talking about. It cost me about the same as the EVGA cables as well. I hope more companies follow suit.

Well the nzxt extensions I have that are "braided" when you bend them you hear it that its plastic. Tiny tom says at 5:10 theyre still nylon plastic braids

Yeah, don't go with extensions because it makes cable management a mess. I got the official kit from Corsair's website. Turns out to be about the same price as extensions as well. Sadly, I went with extensions first because I didn't know about the official kit, and now I have a ton of extra extensions.

I wonder if there is any difference with the G1 cables other than marketing, would be interesting to see if they would work with them.

So...what's the point of sleeved cables, again? I don't see anything very appealing in their design.

Why is the God of Hyperdeath SO...DARN...CUTE!?

Also, if anyone has their mind corrupted by an anthropomorphic black latex bat, please let me know. I would like to join you.

It would seem that eventually it would add up to be the same, plus wouldn't extensions make cable management more difficult?
