Is there a good way to run benchmarks on my console? I've run into the question a few times with people I'm building PCs for, "How will this compare to (Insert game console here)". Most of the time, I can point to fps differences, but some people want specific numbers.

I'm open to game benchmarking, but I tend to not double buy titles, so it's not an amazing option other than with free-to-play games like Apex, Fortnite, or Halo infinite. However, I'm open to ideas.

You cant compare consoles to PCs that way. Consoles have their own graphical settings. AFAIK there are no apples to apples benchmarks you can run on an Xbox and on PC.

Closest you're going to get is Digital Foundry who try to match PC to console settings (playlist):

ASUS B650E-F GAMING WIFI + R7 7800X3D + 2x Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36-76  + ASUS RTX 4090 TUF Gaming OC

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) Backup: GL.iNet GL-X3000/ Spitz AX Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz) WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz)
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~1200Mbit down, 115Mbit up, variable)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Your best bet is to watch Digital Foundry for benchmarks of individual games. PS5 gpu performs in line with the 6600 XT, Series X around in line with the 6700, while both have cpus that are pretty much a bit lower clocked versions of the Ryzen 7 3700X.

Its annoying they don't have a playlist specifically for console vs PC.
