I just got a new computer and at first when i turned it on it tried to repair windows, and then it would tell me to restart but when I did so it just black screened. so after waiting for like 30 minutes I just turned it off and then I tried to install windows again, and when it got to the part where it is installing windows and it has to restart it just black screened. i just assumed it was loading but after an hour I realizedy something was seriously wrong, so i unplugged it and after that when ever i try to boot my system it would just black screen on the page where it has the little booting circle and the motherboard brand. before it black screens i can get in to bios, but i am new to windows so idk what to do there, please help. thanks.

First, what cable are you using to connect your PC to your monitor.

If it's display port, try using a hdmi and stick it into  a display that supports HDMI such as a tv.

If it's HDMI, use a display port cable. Unfortunately, if you get a dp to dp cable, you will only be able to plug it into a monitor. Thankfully, there are plenty of DP to HDMI adapters on amazon, go find one if your monitor doesn't support DP.

Sometimes windows acts stupid.

Second, Have you checked to make sure that the cable is connected to the GPU and not the motherboard. The GPU ports are usually around the middle of the backside of the case.

thirdly, you can get into safe mode by selecting the boot with safe mode option, generally as you are leaving the bios.

4th try reinstalling windows yourself as mentioned above.

5th, get on the phone with the manufacturer. If it's a boutique builder (Like NZXT) they may ask you to send specific parts, the the system as a whole. OEMs (like dell, alienware, hp, lenovo) may ask you to send the whole pc or advise you on how to reinstall windows.

Is this a new to you computer(used)? Or did you buy it brand new at a retail store in person or online?

If it is used I'd say contact the seller and question why it isn't working, unfortunately computers and computer components get sold non working all the time and are probably one of the most scammed electronics types out there.

If it's brand new I'd say you got a lemon and will probably want to just return it or take it back to where you bought it if in person and see if they can help you get it working.

I'd only try fixing it yourself if it was bought used otherwise take it back or contact the retailer if it was new, you don't want to do anything that will accidentally void the warranty especially if you don't know exactly what you're doing.
