Buy whatever you want.

The idea is that the power consumption of a CPU kind of scales with the number of cores. In the case of AMD Ryzen processors, it's around 12-15w per core.

A 4 core processor shouldn't consume more than around 50-60w, a 6 core processor may go up to 80w, an 8 core processor may go to 100-110w and so on.

The VRM is that circuit between the IO shield (where you put all connectors and the CPU socket), it converts 12v into the voltage the processor wants.

A VRM circuit without heatsinks on it, like on that "B450 b450m-k " board, will overheat if you use a processor that consumes more than around 80 watts, so upgrading in the future to a cpu with more than 6 cores will be a problem.

Even with a powerful six core processor, from time to time the temperature of that circuit may be quite high and that could force the processor to reduce its frequencies and its power consumption in order to give that circuit time to cool down. So you get a less than great performance out of the processor.

Heatsinks help reduce temperature and expand how many processors you could use, and the performance can be further improved by simply making a fan blow air over the heatsink metal to reduce the temperature even more. So it's better to have heatsinks (even small heatsinks) on that circuit.

Get a B450 chipset motherboard as it will be most versatile, it will support the highest amount of processors.

The Gigabyte B450M DS3H Wifi is better than the above Asus one

You have the version without wifi here, new listing : https://www.olx.ba/artikal/47008364/maticna-ploca-gigabyte-mb-b450m-ds3h-1-1-socket-am4/

Or the v2 version ... pretty much same, just  minor changes on the board https://www.olx.ba/artikal/40636175/gigabyte-b450m-ds3h-v2/

This would be a good board if it's still available and the price is good, can't see the price : https://www.olx.ba/artikal/47406886/asrock-b450m-pro4-maticna-ploca/

If you don't mind being limited to Ryzen 3100 or newer processors, look at A520 motherboards as well.

Gigabyte A520M-S2H is ok. .. no heatsink on the vrm, good enough for up to 6 core processors : https://www.olx.ba/artikal/44785277/gigabyte-a520m-s2h/

Alright sorry for annoying you man. Now just one last question. Between these 2 which one do I get? https://www.olx.ba/artikal/47406886/asrock-b450m-pro4-maticna-ploca/

Am5 is launching in the next 2 months. Am4 has gotten it's last cpu.

That I would not recommend as those are already on the edge of being good enough for gaming. With this I mean the 4core/8thread cpu's. Once the new consoles fully take over expect just like last time to see a huge jump in needed cpu threads. Which will leave those cpu's behind.

Hence why for now I'm recommending a i3 12100. Even tho it's a 4c/8t part you CAN easily upgrade to a 6c,8,10,... and such later on even very low budget boards.

That or you get a good deal on a ryzen cpu right now.

It is unknown but biostar is not known to make good products overall in the last decade basically.

What is your budget in the end for the WHOLE computer?

I think you should look at more complete devices/bundles instead of part by part here. just browsing around a bit I can see some decent desktops on there for low prices.

I couldn't find any complete builds no one sells mobo cpu RAM combos rn on this site. Thats why I wanna buy slowly. I buy mobo now then later I can think about the CPU and so on and so fourth.

Don't.

Don't ever do that. It always ends up with you getting a FAR worse system.

Always buy togheter or at worst in the same couple of weeks.

Can't do it? Put the money away until you reach your goal.
