I bought a 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2 but my motherboard (PRIME H310M-K) doesnt have M.2 support.

I went searching for a SSD Adapter with M.2 support. The one I found needs a PCIE x4 connector.

My motherboard only has 1 PCIE x16, and 2 PCIE 1x, is there any way to lenghten the ports to make a PCIE 4x for the adapter?

there is m2 to pcie1x. but installing a 970 would choke the bandwidth.

1x would deliver max 1gb/s which is only a quarter of what 970 would do.

No, the PCIe lanes simply don't exist for those x1 slots. If you're not using a GPU, you could use a PCIe x16 adapter for the top slot.

Just sell it/return it and get a SATA SSD, IMO.. or a new motherboard.
