The 6600XT is the faster GPU. The question really comes down to whether or not the Nvidia feature set will come in handy for you. If you play at 1080P and don't do anything production (video editing, rendering, anything that uses CUDA), the 6600XT is the better option. However, if you play at high resolutions where DLSS makes sense, or you do anything that utilizes NVENC or CUDA (or use something like Adobe that can't stand AMD GPUs), the 3060 would be the better pick.

I do very occasional modelling in Maya 3D, but all games are 1080p
