Tablet Help

Wanting to buy a tablet but hung up on iPad pro vs Samsung galaxy tab s8+. I'm caught up on the fact that Samsung only supports os for 4 years and security 5. I'm looking for longevity but at same time I do like features of the tab s8+. Thoughts or suggestions?

The new iPad Air has the M1 chip which is what's used in the Pro. If your not going to use the Pro as a Pro device, then Id go for the Air. 

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
