Major VRAM issues

So i knew this going in that i would be taking a risk. I bought a Gigabyte Acorus master RTX 3070 with some issues. the person i bought it from said some times it works and other times it crashes games. i start using it and i confirm it. seems mostly fine just every once in a while a game would say graphics device removed. now it is happening specifically on overwatch very often. what i have tried. i took it apart and cleaned it up with new paste. i updated the firmware and vbios. i put a power limit under volted it and underclocked the vram as much and MSI afterburner would let me. That all actually worked for a few weeks it was running with very few issues but now i can hardly finish a match in overwatch. Is there anything i can do. im not the original owner so i can't rma it. (the person i bought it from should have it's not that old) is there some place that fixes this kind of things or can i pay gigabyte. what can i do.

so heres what it does sometimes. the vram errors in occt and the card all cleaned up it looks okay to me so i think its gotta be a bad ram chip or something.

Nope, VRAM issues cannot be fixed by software or by someone who has no clue around a PCB. Why would you buy a broken card knowing that you cant fix it yourself?

Because it didn't sound major it sounded like a power issue or something that I have been able to fix before. Plus it was super cheap. Thanks yeah I was thinking that. So there's not really a service that can fix it rather for a cost?

well try any other game than overwatch, also not playing overwatch is good for you

I just played Detroit become human and it said after 10min GRAPHICS DEVICE REMOVED. lol fair.

okay some update. i got it working fine by underclocking the vram to -1000 mhz and then running a stress test. ran good for a few days then i accidentally while messing with vram speeds screwed it up. major graphical glitches then restart of the computer. colored lines all over the screen i can't get any of the softwares to work. im sure if i got a custom vbios that has a lower vram clock i could get it working but im getting code 43 in device manager and windows says it's not functioning properly. is there a lower clock vbios.

I have been working on a faulty RTX 3070. I have got it to work good a couple of time by underclocking the vram with msi afterburner and EVGA Precision X1. While i was tinkering i accidentally reset it to default while it was running heaven and now i have colored lines on the screen that wont go away and device manager say code43 problem with device. Is there a Vbios that runs the vram at a lower clock so i can even mess with it.

So is there anything I can do. I personally give up on it but what should I do with it. Does gigabyte have a repair service or is there people that would want to fix it and I could sell it
