I’m looking to install cat6 or cat6a cable into the wall how many cables will I need from the modern to my bedroom

How many things are you planning on plugging in?

 

Single story? Multi-story?

 

Single-family house? Apartment?

 

Rent? Own?

 

All these factors change your answer.

well...  how much tech shit are you gonna have in your bedroom?

 

And do you want dedicated runs, or do you wanna buy a cheap GBIT switch and use that?

Single story laptop and pc will be used so 2 port faceplate maybe 20m cable
