When playing games my gpu fan suddenly increases in speed; that's what it sounds like anyway, I always have msi afterburner and HWmoitor open on my second monitor and notice the gpu/cpu fan rpm doesn't move. I have my fans set manually to 70% (1750 rpm) while I game and when the temperatures get above 50C on the gpu the fans get significantly louder, going by ear it sounds like 85% (2300 rpm). I doubt this is a problem with my specific gpu as I just got it new last week and had the same problem with my old 2080S. My case fans can't be the culprit as they are powered by sata and are only connected to the motherboard by the argb header. The cpu fan even at full speed can't get as loud as the sound. I did set a custom fan profile but this problem still occurs when the profile is disabled. The only thing I could think it could be is that msi afterburner lets me control 2 fans independently and my card has 3 fans. I also have no clue why the fans ramp up so loud at 50C, the custom profile I set even if somehow re-enables itself the fans shouldn't ramp up that high until 70C and I know the stock curve would be even later. If anyone knows what is causing this or how to fix it that would be appreciated.
