SSD Cache amount for gaming

How much cache should I have on my sata III ssd for gaming, specifically warzone

If I'm reading the question correctly, it doesn't matter. Gaming is basically read only and the SSD's cache is there to help keep writes at a higher performance. It could impact install and patching speed but they're not performance critical.

There are still faster or slower SSDs, but cache size shouldn't be a factor to consider in this use case.

Also keep in mind you will be limited to the slowest person in the match regardless.

Just so you're aware, you using an SSD and having faster load speeds than everyone else will not be an advantage to performance nor you're ability to fight people in COD. The way that COD Warzone or even regular multiplayer works is the game does not start until everyone is loaded in and everyone has all the assets for the match loaded. While you will load in first with an SSD you will still be waiting for the other players in the match to load in, that's why it has the timer in the beginning of every match.

Is that why sometimes it takes like 5 minutes for the match to start?

Correct, it takes longer due to the other users in the match having slower systems with standard HDDs or they're on console, once you load in all the time after that and before the match starts is the other users loading into the match. If you are playing with crossplay enabled you will also see longer times as the consoles take significantly longer to load a match as well. Having COD installed on an SSD will only affect your load times so once you load in and are waiting for the match to start that length of time depends on the other players in the match and their systems.
