Lan port adapter on phone

The specs say the s22 ultra can do :

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax 2.4G+5GHz+6GHz, HE160, MIMO, 1024-QAM

Up to 2.4Gbps Download / Up to 2.4Gbps Upload

so in theory with the right router, you could do more than 1 gbps through wireless.

The USB port seems to be  usb 3.1 gen1  or 5 gbps so in theory and usb 3  1gbps / 2.5 gbps network card should get close to 1 gbps.

How long can those high speeds be sustained will depend on the internal flash / extra sdxc card write speeds ,,, and for browsing or viewing videos from a share/nas the faster speeds don't matter.

Does Lan port adapter give you faster internet speed than phones wifi ? ( usb c to lan adapter)

i have fiber 1 gig internet and iam getting 1000 down with lan cable sustained on pc but on my s22 ultra i get 400 440 max

Probably not, as I believe phones only use USB 2.0 so would be capped at a similar speed to what you are getting on WiFi.

I'm curious what you need faster than that on a phone for though?

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7
