Rust FPS

Hey,

This is my current build:

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Graymac_12/saved/#view=LHkHzy

In rust I get about 55-65 FPS on rust, 75-80 if I'm not near any bases. Task manager says my CPU generally runs at 45% and GPU generally at 35%. I'm wondering if it is worth it to get a Ryzen 5 5600x, or if it is just not worth it to upgrade. Userbenchmark said my computer is running at the expected levels.

Thanks

It might be that Rust is thread bound, which means that you need to go into the graphs section of task manager, and select CPU, right click, and change graph to Logical Processors.

If any of those 12 graphs are locked to 95-100%, then that means it is thread bound.

In such a case, a CPU upgrade to a 5600X could be justified.

Unless I say I am speaking from experience or can confirm my expertise, assume it is an educated guess.
