You cant, atleast not without spending few thousand hours porting and reverse engineering. Check DDWRT,Freshtomato or OpenWRT and see if they have a build for that device, if not first part of my answer applies.

 

EDIT:Modem/router combo devices are almost never supported by third party firmware.

I have a totolink nd300v3 modem/router/access-point combo that I had to switch out recently.

 

I want to install RouterOS on it. if that's even possible

 

I've gotten as far as mikrotik's page

which confused the hell out of me.

I'm guessing all of these are different CPU architectures?

 

so I checked my CPU, and still can't figure out what architecture it is
