SSD showing WAY less available space than there actually is

Something weird is up with my SSD, today it's showing as about 700 out of 900GB used, but my folders don't add up to it.

 

Program Files is 12gb, Program Filex s86 is 96gb, Windows is 25gb, and Users is 28gb. Where has all the space gone? 

 

I also ran cipher/w to overwrite some sensitive data, but I accidentally stopped it when itt was writing 0xFF. Does this mean it's not permanently written those blocks as allocated and I have to reformat?

You could try spacesniffer or other software like that to visualize the folders on the drive and try to figure out what's taking space
