Hi everyone, I'm kind of stuck choosing a new headset for gaming. It's important for the headset to not "hang" on your ears as I have a pretty slim head. Not all headsets may be available for me, but as far as I've seen these are a couple of contenders:

  • Logitech G Pro
  • Acrtis 1
  • Xbox Stereo

I could've added Cloud Stinger to the list, but it looks really "cheap" for me. Design is important too since I like everything minimalistic (well all of the above are pretty slick)

Price range should be similar for all of those, but certainly not higher than G Pro. Thanks a lot!

All three of those suck, it's hard to recommend anything in that pricerange let alone a "gaming" headset. The Cooler Master MH751/MH752's however are based on the Takstar Pro 82's, which are pretty much the go to closed-back for under ~$100. They commonly retail for about $80 USD, and those would be the recommendation.

I would either recommend saving up a bit and getting pc38x or getting something like the k371 (which fits in your budget but doesn't have a mic [also non bluetooth version]) and a seperate mic.
If you manage to find a beyer tygr 300r it's basically the best one for anywhere near the price range.

Thanks @OfficialTechSpace, @Einoo for your replies. The thing is that you can't find all of those models where I'm at. Main ptions are mainstream brands like Hyper, SS, Razer, Logitech. The only one is k371 and it costs 140$, which is a lot here. I have an option of grabbing G Pro X for the price of regular ones (around a 100$), so may be I'll go with these ones. I'm a pretty casual gamer and I won't use this headset for music since I have major 4 as a daily driver.

Do you still think I should avoid G Pro's or SteelSeries headsets? Like there's not much choice here, but I still want to get a least best from what's offered

Ok first of all k371/k361 shouldn't cost anywhere near that much. From my experience using arctis 1, 7 and 9x they have all been among the worst headphones I have tried even beaten by 5€ supermarket earbuds. I have not tried the G Pro X but I haven't heard anything positive about it. You could check if the new rode nth-100 is available. I just got mine and it honestly beats most closed back headphones under 400€ for around 150€ . I would either recommend just saving up or getting some moondrop quarks or something.
