What is this called and how can I fix it? ( ghosting maybe? )

Cazo

Hey guys, just got a new monitor but I noteced something wierd.

In the video we can see that there is another image 1 pixel to the right and thats really bugging me. When I use the "auto" feature of my monitor the problem apears to be fix, but as the value ( of something, I don't know what it is ) gets increased the problem comes back.

What is this?

( I'm using an Phillips 226vl )

Hi there!

Can you tell me what monitor you have? Also please check that the HDMI ports are correctly plugged in. Even try to restart your Mac to see if that helps you.

Hope this helps you!

Sorry didn’t know that, still recommend that check the VGA is plugged properly and also, check if the cable isn’t the one causing this issue, if you have a different one laying around, check that out to see if that’s causes the problem.

That's ringing in the video signal. (VGA is analog.)

Make sure the connection is tight on both ends and you don't have a big loop of cable or something like that. A new cable might be the only real fix though.

If you can use any digital connection (DVI, HDMI, DP), you won't have that problem.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
