Requesting to recommend an Ultrawide 34" (21:9) monitor for Coding and Productivity

Hi Team,

 

I am Harsh from INDIA. 

 

I had recently build a gaming PC, spec details below:

Processor: i9-10850K

GPU: RTX 3080 Ti

 

I am thinking to buy a monitor mostly for Coding and Productivity. I do lot of coding, Video editing and run VM's for Linux. 

With a bit of research, I found out that 34" Ultrawide's are prefect for it. 

When I check out the for reviews, buying a 34" gaming monitor is not good for professional work. 

Then I decided going with

1. LG 35WN75C-B – 35” QHD (3440 x 1440) Curved Monitor with sRGB 99% Color Gamut and HDR 10 and USB-Type C (94W Power Delivery)  OR

2. LG Curved UltraWide 34 Inch WQHD (3440 x 1440) Display HDR 10, Color Calibrated sRGB 99%, Inbuilt MaxxAudio Speaker (7W x 2), Height Tilt Adjust Stand, Display Port, Audio Out - 35WN75C

 

Apart from these two, I didnt find any good monitors in my budget, which is 50K INR (700 $)

The above two monitors are best I can find and even they also has some drawbacks, like even at higher resolutions the pixels are visible, image clarity is not that great and it is seen when VS code or other coding software when opened. Is it a common thing for 34" monitors or there is an option to get better monitors.

 

Please help me with this issue.

I would say. But out of my experience. 

 

Gaming monitors are pretty okay for most stuff it all depends on what your work requires and such

Is there any other monitors would you suggest, as I can see that LG Curved UltraWide 34 Inch has 5ms response time with 100Hz refresh rate.

 

Is samsung odyssey g5 34 inch 165hz curved gaming monitor good for Professional Works?

I mean it's alright

 

It does its job, colors are fine, but it can be smery in black/gray around thst place I've used it for a lot of things and pretty happy about it
