Ahhh, I think I see the problem now.

 

The 1tb is not supported and only the 250gb.

Hello, I have a new Aorus Z590 Pro AX with an i7-10700k.

 

This is going to be a new build, so I am confused on why the 1tb 2.5 Samsung 870 Evo SSD is not showing up on the BIOS. I tested another 250gb SSD same brand and it shows up.

 

I have tested the cables and swapping them. Same result only the 250gb shows up.

 

Have tried flashing the BIOS to the latest one and still same problem.

 

I tested both SSDs on a different motherboard Asus Z490-F and the 1tb SSD shows up on that board.

 

Am I missing something on the Aorus board? Do I need to configure something?

The first m.2 slot is only accessible on 11th gen. Intel and their weird decisions.
